BREAKING:Just when you thought L.A.'s most significant crisis was its traffic, President Trump and Governor Newsom decide to have a toddler tantrum competition. Instead of focusing on, you know, actual governance, these two playground bullies are battling over who gets to control the sandbox that is Los Angeles.
In an unprecedented move, Trump, in his infinite wisdom, decided to call in the National Guard as if it were an oversized babysitter to put an end to the city's street battles and political power struggles. Leavitt claims it's to "prevent and deter" some nonsense. Right, because we all know that nothing quells civil unrest like a tank parade.
And let's not overlook Newsom, who's probably too busy tweeting from his wine cellar to notice his city's in chaos. Newsom, the man who promised to make California a utopia, now looks like he's auditioning for the role of a henchman in the next B-grade dystopian movie. But, hey, if Trump and Newsom keep this up, L.A. might just rename itself "Los Chaos Anarchy."
