Ah, the Las Vegas Strip, where dreams go to die, along with the dreams of two unfortunate souls. Apparently, some joker decided the neon lights weren't flashy enough and added a couple of gunshots for ambiance. The suspect? Known, but not arrested, because, you know, paperwork.
Now, the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, bless their cotton socks, assured us the casino floors are safe for your nightly gambling losses. Instead, the shooting took place outside, where the air is fresher for your bullet wounds. The irony, it seems, is not lost on the city that never sleeps but could use a nap.
Imagine, a suspect known but not apprehended, probably because he's currently enjoying a complimentary buffet or winning big at the slots. And the police, they're on it, or at least they will be after their coffee break. Meanwhile, the Strip goes on, business as usual, because nothing says Vegas like dodging bullets between shows.
