Oh, the WNBA's got their hands full, folks! Apparently, some fans took a break from discussing whether the team mascot is a hawk or a pigeon to hurl racial slurs at Angel Reese. Yeah, because nothing says "I'm a fan" like channeling your inner eighth-grade bully! The league's on it, though, diving into this "investigation" like a detective with a magnifying glass at a pie-eating contest.
They're probably scanning the crowd footage, looking for the culprit like they're trying to spot Waldo in a sea of angry faces. Meanwhile, Angel Reese is just out there, trying to play basketball without being compared to someone's racist Aunt Edna at Thanksgiving dinner. I mean, if we're going to start comparing athletes to family members, why stop at the racist ones?
Next thing you know, they'll be calling her Uncle Barry, who can't play a note on the piano but swears he's Beethoven reincarnated. It's a circus out there, but hey, at least the popcorn's good!
