What a spectacular mess, even for the notoriously aimless Israel Defense Forces. In their latest attempt to play global hitman, they set their sights on Mohammed Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari, the Houthi military chief, and instead hit a who's who of Yemen's insurgent leadership.
The outcome? More unclear than your average tax form. Reports are as foggy as the brains of the IDF strategists, who probably mistook a smoke break for a strategic summit.
One wonders if the IDF's targeting system is outsourced to the same blindfolded dart throwers that decide the location for their annual Passover Seder. But hey, maybe they finally found a way to make a name for themselves in Yemen-other than just being the folks who can't find their target in a desert.
