One can only imagine the level of decorum one would encounter on a program titled "Love Island USA." However, even the most jaded viewers might have found their monocles askew at the sight of Hannah Fields and Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez performing what can only be described as an amateur burlesque under the covers.
The show, already a bastion of high culture, has now descended into the realm of softcore cinema. One shudders to think what Gertrude Stein would make of such an unrefined display. The couples' antics, captured in high definition for the world's pleasure, have turned the villa into a veritable peep show.
It appears that the producers, in their infinite wisdom, decided to elevate the drama from mere whispers of infidelity to full-blown voyeurism. One wonders if the next episode will feature interpretive dance or perhaps a live feed from the contestants' more intimate moments. Surely, the viewing public deserves better than this parade of the profane.
